Founded in 1996, Hong Tai was established by brothers led by founder Mr. Jason Ng, inspired by the remarkable legacy of their late father, the renowned Traditional Chinese Medicine physician, Hong Tai. Named in his honour, the company was created to continue his lifelong commitment to improving health and enriching lives through the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
During his years of practice, Physician Hong Tai earned a reputation as one of Singapore’s respected TCM physicians. Known for his dedication, experience, and compassionate care, he attracted patients from all walks of life, with many regularly queuing for consultations. Hong Tai began with its very first retail outlet in Bishan. From those humble beginnings, the company has grown steadily over the past three decades into a trusted local TCM retailer with five outlets across Singapore. While the business has expanded, its mission has remained unchanged: to provide quality Traditional Chinese Medicine products that customers can trust.
Today, the company continues to be family-owned and is actively led by founder Mr. Jason Ng, who remains dedicated to preserving his father’s legacy while evolving the business to meet the needs of modern consumers.
